Randfontein Town Bowling Club hosts November fun day

It was that time of the month again for a good ol' fun day at the Randfontein Town Bowling Club recently.

Randfontein Town Bowling Club hosted a successful fun day at their premises on Sunday, November 6.

Skippie Scheepers, George van der Westhuizen and Kobus Britz posed for a picture while getting their food ready on the braai.

Club member Sunè Scheepers said the fun day is held every first Sunday of every month to get together and of course, have fun.

“The fun day is where we invite friends, family and anyone who wants to come and enjoy the day with us. This is where we get to teach them how the sport works and so forth. It’s just a fun event of music and enjoying yourself while playing a game that brings us all together,” said Scheepers.

Susan van den Berg was the bar lady on the day and kept the drinks coming.

She added that those present were divided into groups and tasked with playing 14 rounds.

“There was a lot of cheering going on which made it extra fun!”

Matthew Mckittrick and Nicole Trewick attended the fun day and enjoyed themselves.

To encourage those in attendance to enjoy the day’s activities a little bit more, the club also gave away a few prizes based on who was the loudest and who had the most fun.

To top it all off, members then had the chance to braai and socialise afterwards.

Matthew Mckittrick was spotted playing on the pool table and enjoying himself.
