REM youngsters too good for Phahama Secondary
The school's netball coach said they were not expecting a win considering the fact that their team was going up against a team that had older players.
Randfontein Primary School’s (REM) U13 netball team and a team from Phahama Secondary School recently went head-to-head on the netball courts with REM winning 11-7.
Speaking to the school’s netball coach Tumi Sekhokoane said it was considered great preparation and did he not expect a win because their team was up against a team who had older players.

“This was part of our preparatory game just to make sure that we had our combinations going and we also had to observe how we play our lines.
“The girls from Phahama were much older than them, so they had to look at how they were playing against them. We were expecting to be smashed but in fact, we won against them. Our U13 team has not been on the losing side as yet.

“We’ve previously won against Avantè Primary School, as well as against Gerrit Maritz Primary so we are doing well,” said Sekhokoane.
