Randfontein High runners race into Team Gauteng

Two local school athletes earn provincial selection following impressive performances at the Gauteng trials.

Two Randfontein High School cross-country runners have secured places in Team Gauteng for the upcoming National Cross Country Championships.

Tshiamo Mpshe won the Boys U19 category at provincial level, securing his spot, while Tumelo Konyana also impressed in the Boys U17 category, finishing fourth to earn provincial selection.

The achievement sees both athletes take the next step in their cross-country journey as they prepare to compete at national level while representing Gauteng and Randfontein High School.
