The 12-year-old is currently playing as a right wing for the Greenhills Super Tigers Football Club. However, he has been playing soccer since he was just a little boy.

I always used to watch Lionel Andrés Messi play football on TV.

“One day, I finally decided that I wanted to be a football player, so I asked my father to train with me. That is how I came to truly love the sport,” Tlhaefang explained.

His favourite thing about football is scoring a lot of goals. His biggest dream is to be famous and inspire people on an international level. Playing football every day motivates Tlhaefang to become a better role model for others. His favourite position is right wing because he can control the ball the easiest.

He continued by advising those who, in his age group, also dream of achieving their goals.

“It is important that they keep their focus on education. If they would like to become a football star, they should ensure that they train as hard as possible every day,” he concluded.
