Pedestrians killed on R28, police investigate culpable homicide
The Randfontein Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after two pedestrians were knocked down and killed during the night of Saturday, 1 October.
The incident took place on the R28 (Main Reef Road).
Captain Appel Ernst, the Randfontein Police spokesperson said it is alleged the two men were knocked down by a vehicle and died on the scene.
“The names and ages of the two victims are currently being determined,” she said.
The Randfontein detectives are currently investigating a culpable homicide case and request any person who might have witnessed the incident to please contact Warrant Officer Pappas Mhlongo on 011 278 8100.
