• 10 August: Seven-hour healing and deliverance service in Toekomsrus
Believers are invited to attend a healing and deliverance service of seven hours to be held in Toekomsrus on Saturday, 10 August. Proceedings start at noon and finish at 7pm. The venue is corner Komatierivier and Diamond Streets, Toekomsrus. Dubbed ‘Toekomsrus Invasion Operation Double the Numbers’, the service will be led by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, who will give a prophecy and healing deliverance message with the son of Apostle Michael Major 1. • 16 to 18 August: Health and Fitness Expo in Roodepoort
Get back into shape and witness the fitness at the Health and Fitness Expo at Clearwater for one whole weekend. The Expo which features everything the health and fitness industry has to offer runs from Friday to Sunday afternoon whilst the annual 10km race and 5km fun run will take place on Saturday, 17 August. • 14 September: Ex-prisoner to give ‘life-changing’ talk in Randfontein
Rusty Labuschagne who is said to have been falsely accused and imprisoned for 10 years will be giving an inspirational talk at AFM Groen Weivelde in Randfontein in September. Enrico van Aswegen, vice-chairperson of AFM Groen Weivelde described the talk as ‘life-changing’. Some even described Rusty as a modern-day example of Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25–38).
• 6 to 11 October: Paw x 4 Namaqua Coastal Trip and fundraiser for the Randwest SPCA
Randwest Nissan is planning a Paw x 4 Namaqua Coastal Trip with 20 vehicles – and 50 per cent of the proceeds will go to the Randwest SPCA. According to Gerda Pieterse of Randwest Nissan they are inviting all 4 x 4 vehicle owners, and all dog lovers and their sociable and disciplined four-legged friends to join this adventure to support the local SPCA.
