BREAKING NEWS: Woman killed in north lion attack
The Cullinan police are investigating the attack.
A 22-year-old woman was mauled and killed by a lioness at a private game lodge in Hammanskraal on Tuesday morning.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Nick Dollman said the attack occurred at around 11:00.
He said the lodge is just outside of the Dinokeng Nature Reserve in Hammanskraal, but could not yet reveal the name of the lodge.
“When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene, bystanders had initiated CPR. Tragically, the victim had sustained severe injuries and she died at the scene.”
He said the Cullinan police were on scene to investigate. The police could not be reached by the time of publishing.
