NEWSFLASH: Car swallowed by Centurion sinkhole

A motorist escaped unharmed when his car fell into a sinkhole in Valhalla Centurion on Friday morning.

Mpho Borodi (30) was on his way to work when he drove into the sinkhole around 05:25.

“It was still dark and I didn’t see the sinkhole,” he said.

Ward councillor Ina Strijdom and a Tshwane Metro technical team were on scene investigating.
