GALLERY: Top SA comics have east audience in stitches
Fans came from as far as Midrand and Johannesburg to see their favourite comedians.
The Saturday night comedy show in the east brought together comic giants from all over the country and left patrons in tears of laughter.
The Laugh-a-Minute Kings and Queens of comedy extravaganza was held on Saturday at the Sun Arena Time Square at Menlyn.
Fans came from as far as Midrand and Johannesburg to see their favourite comedians.
Riaad Moosa was the MC for the evening and the line-up included the likes of Alan Committee, Casper de Vries, Donovan Goliath, Gilli Apter, Hannes Brummer, Joey Rasdien, Jason Goliath, Khanyisa Bunu, Krijay Govender, Leenda Reddy, Marc Lottering, Melt Sieberhagen, Shimmy Isaacs, Sfiso Nene and Morgan Beatbox.

The hilarious evening was brought to Pretoria by Blu Blood in association with Comedy Central Africa.
“We are happy about the turnout and we can proudly say there was a good attendance,” said MS Publicity head of communications Monica Steyn.
Kings and Queens of comedy was established in 2012 and has since grown to be one of the leading comedy brands in South Africa.
“It promotes and showcase local talent in the country,” said Steyn.

Managing director of Blu Blood Osman Osman said the company prided itself on bringing world-class South African comedians to stages around the country.
“We’ve picked the cream of the crop and we’re excited to have brought an event bigger and better for the first time at Sun Arena in 2018.”
