Sibling murderer arrested

A 25-year-old Atteridgeville man is facing murder charges after he allegedly stabbed his brother on Saturday, police spokesperson Captain Thomas Mufamadi said.

The incident occured after the man and his 32-year-old brother got into an argument at home.

“They were arguing when the 25-year-old stabbed his brother in the neck. The father rushed him to Kalafong hospital but he was declared dead on arrival,” he said.

Mufamadi says the alleged murderer was arrested shortly after the incident.

“He will appear on court soon. The investigations continue.”
