New sport books discussed by authors
Henning Gericke and Lourens Erasmus discussed what inspired them to write their books.
Two sports authors recently discussed their latest books and signed copies for fans. Henning Gericke and Lourens Erasmus held an exclusive live discussion on their books at Small Artist Studio and Project Space in Rietondale.
Gericke is the author of Inspiring Champion and Erasmus of Soccer Farm.
With Inspiring Champions Gericke brings together years of experience, working with champions by developing their dreams and mental skills, resilience and composure, as well as instilling winning habits which are crucial to the champion mindset.
Soccer Farm is the story of Lourens Erasmus, the white son of an Afrikaner farmer and his lifelong friend, Bareng, the son of a farm worker and how their love of soccer brought their communities together, at the height of apartheid.
The story is about friendship and how living a dream together can overcome even the largest obstacles.
The live discussion ended with both authors signing copies of their books.
