Man’s naked body discovered
A homeless man's naked body was discovered in a field in Doringkloof on Wednesday afternoon.
The body of an elderly homeless man was discovered near the Seeff Properties office in Doringkloof, bordering Irene, on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Rodney Augustine, an eye-witness, two men informed him about the discovery and upon investigation he found the naked man lying in the field.
He said it seems as if there is no foul play and that the man might have died from natural causes. It is yet to be confirmed by the police.
“We often saw the man walking in the area. Sometimes he was clothed in a blanket and sometimes naked. When we found him lying in the field he was naked,” Augustine said.
The police could not yet confirm the incident.
