2015 Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour comes to Pretoria
Pretoria will host the Red Bull X-Fighters for the second time in the row in 2015.

The city of Pretoria in South Africa will again host the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour, on 12 September next year.
This comes after a successful 2014 Red Bull X-Fighters finale at the Union Buildings in August, where more than 20 000 fans saw Australian Josh Sheehan being crowned champion.
Sheehan double-backflipped his way to his first world title with the spectacular architecture of the Sir Herbert Baker-designed Union Buildings as a backdrop. As the fourth stop in the 2015 calendar it’s sure to be another highlight for both riders and spectators.
In the 2015 tour, Sheehan will be up against three ex-champs determined to end the Australian’s reign on top of the world’s most prestigious freestyle motocross series with their bags of new tricks.
The ex-champs are Tom Pagès of France (2013 World Tour Champion), Levi Sherwood of New Zealand (2012) and Spain’s Dany Torres (2011).
Sherwood will go to the 2015 tour with immense pressure to win the competition after he lost out in the qualifying phase of the 2014 finale owing to an ankle injury following after an accident.
Up until the accident, Sherwood was world tour standings leader.
The world tour features two new locations in Greece and the- United Arab Emirates (UAE) to highlight the five-round 2015 season that is shaping up to be the most exciting championship battle in its 15th season.
The event will be in Athens, Greece on 12 June 2015 and UAE will host finale on 30 October.
It will also return to the traditional hotbeds of Mexico City on 6 March 2015 and Spain on 10 July before making its way back to Pretoria in September.
