Sunfoil Series

The action will start on Thursday when the Nashua Titans take on the Nashua Cape Cobras in a 4 Day Sunfoil series test at the Sahara Park Willowmoore in Benoni. The Titans will look to bounce back from last week’s defeat to the Sunfoil Dolphins and get a consolation second place finish as it is very unlikely that they will win the trophy with two games remaining.

World Cup

South Africans can breathe a sigh of relieve after the Proteas won their quarter final clash against Sri Lanka on Wednesday. Cricket fans can now relax and watch the six teams try to battle for a spot in the semis, India plays Bangladesh on Thursday then on Friday co-host Australia take on the unpredictable Pakistan while the last quarter final sees West Indies play New Zealand on Saturday.

SupeRugby

The Bulls will look to get their third straight win of the SupeRugby campaign as they tackle the Western Force at the Loftus Versfeld on Saturday at 17:05. The Bulls are currently lying third on the South African conference with 10 points from four games; a win for them could put them second if other results go their way.

The Lions and the Cheetahs will look for wins in their Australasian tour when they battle the Rebels and Crusaders respectively. The Sharks on the hand will want to build on their promising start to the season when they lock horns with the Chiefs on Saturday evening.

Nedbank Cup

SuperSport will look to win their second trophy of the season when they battle the ‘Mighty Buccaneers’ at the Peter Mokaba stadium on Saturday evening. Sunday will see Sundowns taking on Platinum Stars at the Royal Bafokeng stadium, the Brazilians have struggled against Dikwena in recent times and their last cup meeting saw Dikwena edge Sundowns, so will history repeat itself? Kickoff is scheduled for 15:00.
