Families celebrate Easter at the zoo

National Zoological Gardens celebrates Easter weekend with great entertainment.

Families and friends of the National Zoological Gardens in Pretoria were treated to some Easter eggs and free goodies on Saturday.

Visitors to the zoo received freebies at the main entrance, sponsored by the Pick n Pay supermarket chain. The supermarket handed out free marshmallows, Easter eggs and promoted SunSure by dishing out samples to visitors.

Characters from Ola ice cream entertained children, taking some selfies with them. Some children were hesitant to take part, but others enjoyed themselves.

Visitors also received scratch cards and won some decent prizes.
