Five prisoners escape while transported to court
Police searching for five awaiting trail prisoners that escaped at Marabastad on their way to court.
A manhunt for five awaiting trail escapees has been launched by the police.
Police on Monday tweeted about the five prisoners transported from Bela Bela to the Pretoria Magistrates court who escaped.
According to police on their Twitter page, the men escaped at Marabastad.
The names of the awaiting trail escapees, police tweeted, are, Liston Baloyi (22), Innocent Mahlalela (40), Sammy Sibiya (23), Justice Moakiri (27) and Diver Mogudu (25).
Further details surrounding the escape will be provided by police at a later stage.
