Suspected Rooihuiskraal rapists in court
Two suspected rapists arrested at shopping mall after a month of investigation.

Two men appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on charges of rape after they were arrested in The Reeds, Centurion at the weekend.
Police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma said the two men, aged 26 and 29 allegedly raped a woman near Rooihuiskraal in July.
In her statement, deposed to on 18 July, the victim alleged she was raped by five men who accosted her near the N14, on her way home from work.
“The men grabbed her and forced her into the bushes and raped her,” said Huma quoting from the woman’s statement.
She recognised one of the men and could identify him.
The two men were arrested by police outside the Reeds Spar on Saturday.
The two suspected rapists appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Wierdabrug police were unable to say if the two men pleaded, were still in custody or had been granted bail as they had handed the case over to the Child Protection, Family Violence and Sexual Offences unit which said it will only make a statement about the matter on Thursday.
