Man faces 35 charges
Soshanguve faces 35 charges though he pleaded not guilty in all of them.

A Soshanguve man faces 35 charges after he was allegedly involved in a number of crimes which include housebreaking, robberies and rape between 2012 and 2014.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena said Sipho Mbokazi (37) had been terrorising the people of Soshanguve before he was caught and arrested last year.
“About 78 witnesses were called on to testify against Mbokazi. I am not sure if all of them will testify because the Judge is expected to announce his judgement date at the end of this week,” Mangena said.
According to a resident, Mbokazi is accused of breaking into houses between August 2012 and April 2014 in the middle of the night, accosting his victims with a firearm and tying them up before robbing them of items ranging from cellphones to television sets and cash. It is believed he also raped 15 women during his reign of terror.
Mbhokazi has pleaded not guilty to all 35 charges.
