Robbers steal items worth R309 000 in Laudium
Two armed men stole a Mercedes Benz Compressor and other house items during a robbery in Laudium.

A 74-year-old woman, her son-in-law and domestic were robbed at her home in Laudium on Thursday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Captain Augustina Selepe said the police were looking for the two robbers.
“It is alleged that two masked men entered a house in Laudium and robbed a woman and her son-in-law at knife point before tying them up. The domestic worker was out at the time and when she got back, she was held and tied up,” she said.
Selepe said the two men left the scene with a white Mercedes Benz Compressor valued at R200 000, R9 000 cash, cellphones, household appliances and jewellery worth R100 000.
“No one was injured during the robbery,” she said.
The registration number of the Mercedes Benz is XHN252GP.
