Power failure in and around Koedoespoort
Residents of Koedoespoort, Weavind Park and Kilner Park expected to have power again by Monday evening.

Residents of Koedoespoort industrial area, Kilner Park and some parts of Weavind Park are without power due to a cable fault, Tshwane metro said on Monday morning.
“The problem was identified this morning and our team of technicians have already started with repair work.”
“It is estimated that power would be restored by 18:00 today,” said Lindela Mashigo, spokesperson of Tshwane metro.
“The City apologises for the inconvenience caused to the affected customers,” he said.
Mashigo said affected customers should report power failures by SMS.
“Just SMS the word ‘power’ followed by your account number to 082 612 0333 or 44676. Or report a power failure to 012 358 9999, choosing the electricity option 3.”
“Consumers are requested to treat apparatus at all times as live/energised,” he said.
