Parts of Pretoria East without water
Large parts of Pretoria East have been without water since Friday.

Moreleta Park and Elardus Park residents have been without water since Friday, after a municipal water pipe burst.
Ward councillor Vickey Bosch said a 350mm water pipe was gushing water on Friday, which prevented the repair team from repairing the leak.
“All they could do last night, was to shut the supply to drain the pipe.”
She said the team was repairing the pipe on Saturday morning.
“It’s quite a big pipe so it’s quite a big job,” Bosch said.
Bosch said she was hoping water supply would be restored to these suburbs during the course of Saturday.
