Montana Tuine in Pretoria North was without electricity on Sunday morning.

Ward Councillor Arnold van Niekerk said the Tshwane metro was working to restore power to the area.

“Residents might be without power for 12 to 16 hours,” he said.

Van Niekerk said the problem was at the Hartbeesfontein substation.

“I will keep residents updated as I get feedback from the municipality.”
