Boy knocked over

A nine-year-old boy was knocked over by a vehicle on Delmas road in the east of Pretoria on Wednesday morning.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said he suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics treated the boy on the scene before he was taken to hospital.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the boy who was on his way to school. He was crossing the road when he was knocked down.”

Mathe said the cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
