NEWSFLASH: Child missing after hijacking
Three-year-old boy still missing after him and his mother were hijacked by three hitchhikers.
A woman was hijacked and her three-year-old son abducted by three hitchhikers in the early hours of Thursday on the Moloto road, north of Pretoria.
According to the police’s Instagram page, the woman was driving with her three-year-old son in the back seat when she gave the three hitchhikers a lift.
They hijacked the woman and drove off with her son.
The vehicle was later found abandoned by police between Moloto road and Kwamhlanga, but the boy was still missing.
He was wearing a white t-shirt, a pair of black jeans and red takkies.
The hitchhikers are estimated to be aged between 25 and 35.
Police were by lunchtime still searching for the boy and the hitchhikers.
