EFF councillor disqualified after racist tweet

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Tshwane electoral candidate, Thabo Mabotja, was disqualified from contesting in next week’s voting polls.

On Friday afternoon the Electoral Court disqualified Mabotja following his racist comment on Facebook.

The EFF distanced itself from its member, saying it would not be defending his statement.
