DA remains in the lead in Tshwane

DA showing strength in Tshwane and Johannesburg.

Early Friday Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) reports indicated that the DA remains in the lead in Tshwane.

The main opposition party was sitting at 43.49% of the vote with the incumbent ANC at 41.91%. The EFF was in the position of a potential kingmaker with 10.57% of the overall vote in the metro.

The DA also lost slight momentum in Johannesburg with 41.72% of the vote compared to ANC’s 41.84% of the overall vote.
