IEC UPDATE: ANC still in the run for Tshwane
Keep up to date with the latest results of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).
The Gauteng results are pouring in at the moment, with only a few constituencies outstanding.
On Friday at 18:00, the three main parties were standing at:
ANC: 42.9% in Tshwane
DA: 41.75% in Tshwane
EFF: 11.38% in Tshwane
And in Johannesburg the situation is as follows:
DA: 42.21% in Johannesburg
ANC: 41.31% in Johannesburg
EFF: 10.52% in Johannesburg
It is yet believed that neither parties would reach a 50% mark of the votes.
