REMINDER: Water supply interruption

Planned water supply interruption will affect several major areas in the city on 16 August.

The Tshwane metro has warned of a scheduled water supply interruption that will affect several areas, mostly in the East and Moot, on Tuesday 16 August.

“Scheduled maintenance and upgrading of the water supply network are being undertaken,” the metro said in a statement.

“Interruption of the water supply is avoided at all costs, however it may be interrupted from time to time on Tuesday for 48 hours.”

The following areas may be affected:

La Montagne, Die Wilgers, Murryfield, Mamelodi, Garsfontein, Ashlea Gardens, Samcor Park, Silverton, Silvertondale, Villieria, Jan Niemandpark, Watloo, East Lynne, Rietfontein, Val-de-Grace, Kilner Park, Meyerspark, Equestria, Lynnwoon Glen, Lynnwood, Lynnwood Park, Faerie Glen, CSIR, Waverley, Eersterust, Queenswood, Brummeria, Constantia Park, Newlands, Ekklesia, Waterkloof Glen, Moreletapark, Alphenpark, Menlyn and Lynnwood Ridge.
