Four men were arrested in possession of stolen copper cables estimated at a street value of R17 000 in Centurion recently.
The men broke into the Cornwall Hill substation and were busy stripping the copper cables.

Lyttelton police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said officers received a complaint of a break-in at the substation.
“They arrived and found the men inside.”

“They tried to escape but due to the quick response all the suspects were arrested and property recovered.”
Miller said the men would have appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court and he was awaiting a report from the investigating officer on the matter.
