
Areas in the north of Pretoria were expected to be without water for about two hours on Saturday afternoon, said ward councillor Yolanda Duvenage

She said Dorandia, Wolmer and parts of Pretoria North might be affected.
“Due to repair work on the main water pipes, the indicated areas are expected to be without water for the next two hours,” she said by 13:00.

“We are experiencing many water leaks due to unmaintained infrastructure.”
Duvenage said that the reservoir had not been closed, only some valves.
