Resort swimming pools to be closed on weekends and public holidays

The closure of the pools is to reduce the risk of non-availability of lifeguards.

All municipal swimming pools within the Tshwane metro resorts have been closed from 9 September, Saturday.

City spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo said the closure was effective only on weekends and public holidays.

“The decision to shut down has been carried through to reduce the risk of non-availability of lifeguards. The situation is being assessed at the moment and the public will be informed when there is a change in this regard,” he said.
