Four people have been arrested after two boys were attacked and robbed of their cellphones in the Moot last week.
Villieria police spokesperson Captain Coba Brits said a case of common robbery has been opened.
“The four suspects appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday,” she said.
“The case was postponed for further investigation and the four will be back in court on Friday.”
Rekord previously reported that the learners were attacked and robbed while playing Pokémon Go last week Saturday.

This happened on the corner of Louis Trichard Street and 24th Avenue in Rietfontein.
The boys, 12 and 13, noticed a red Ford following them before a man grabbed one of them in a strangling grip.
The men took one of the boys’ phones and when the other tried to resist, he was slapped in the face.
The second boy’s phone was also taken and the men sped away.
Brits said residents should always keep safety in mind when using a cellphone in public.
“Do not walk and talk on your phone when in public and do not keep all electronic devices like laptops and mobile phones in sight,” she said.
