GALLERY: All smiles for East 1st graders

No teary faces for Crawford Pre-Primary on the first day of school.

The first day of school could be daunting, so Rekord made a turn at Crawford school to see how things went.

Crawford Pre-Primary admitted 95 grade one learners for the year.

Principal Chrisna Swanepoel said she was excited over the new intake and steering the young minds in the direction of success.

“I am very excited for our grade ones, we believe these children are all masterpieces and we look at the individuality and we are ready to see how they grow and become global citizens,” said Swanepoel.
