Pretoria Central police are committed to keeping a zero-tolerance approach as they look to eradicate crime in the city.
Last weekend, members of the Pretoria Central crime prevention unit together with sector police made 53 arrests.
Pretoria Central police spokesperson Sergeant Tsietsi Lamola said the teams were committed to working tirelessly to put criminals behind bars.

“The zero tolerance approach is in full force every day. During weekends, we also join forces with other crime-fighting agencies,” he said.
Following last weekend’s success, acting station commander of Pretoria Central Colonel Moses Dladla applauded the members for the good work done.
“Procrastination is a thief of time. We as Pretoria Central police start like this in the beginning of the year and will go on until the end without delay, to create a safe and secure environment for all people,” said Dladla.
