The local police, security personnel and CPF ensured it was a blue Monday for two suspected thieves in Centurion.
The two were arrested after a high speed chase involving the police, Copwatch, Monitor Net, the CPF and Centurion Concerned Citizens (CCC) following a tip-off about individuals who had robbed learners of their cellphones.
The two were also suspected of involvement in a theft out of a vehicle.

According to a highly placed source, the police had sent out an alert to the various security stakeholders to look out for the men.
“They were spotted in a black Opel Astra and a pursuit began from Centurion to George Storrar road in Brooklyn where they pair was eventually cornered,” said the witness.
The police were yet to comment at the time of going to press.
