A Centurion man was overpowered by three armed men at his office building in Lyttelton and robbed of an undisclosed amount of money on Tuesday afternoon.
The man went to the Lyttelton shopping centre, where he withdrew a large amount of money. The victim then returned to his office, where he was robbed.

“It appears the victim was followed from the bank,” said police spokesman Captain Dave Miller.
“The suspects went into the office park and fled with the money.”
The suspects were driving a white Audi.

Miller said no shots were fired and nobody was injured.
“The suspects fled with the victim’s phone and threw it into a neighbour’s yard.”
The phone was traced and it was discovered that the gardener had found it, said Miller.
