Police are investigating a case of hijacking, theft and robbery after a 19- year-old woman was attacked in Centurion on Sunday morning.
The woman was driving on Jean Avenue when a rock was allegedly thrown at her car, said police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo.
“She had stopped to check the damage when she was approached by two male suspects who pointed a knife at her.”
Masondo said the woman was forced into the back seat of her car while the men drove around with her.

“They eventually drove to an ATM where they withdrew money from her account,” said Masondo.
“The men took her cellphone and bank card and they went to withdraw money after which they never returned.”
No arrests have been made.
Masondo urged members of the public with any information report to their nearest police station or anonymously call 08600 10111 or send an SMS to 32211.
