A man suffered serious gunshot wounds after he was shot during a robbery at a shop in Olievenhoutbosch on Monday.
The man, who believed to be in his 30s, was taken to Olievenhoutbosch police station by community members.

He was wounded in the left arm and abdomen.
ER24 emergency service spokesperson Werner Vermaak said when paramedics arrived at the police station the man was being attended to by police officers.
“Paramedics stabilised him on the scene and rushed him to hospital for further medical attention. The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting incident will be investigated,” he said.
