UPDATE: Three years on and still no justice for murdered Mamelodi girl

No arrests have been made for the murder of nine-year-old Zinhle.

Three years on and Mamelodi police say they are still investigating the murder of a local nine-year-old girl.

Zinhle Lizzy Ndala went missing on 4 January 2015 while playing with other children in the streets near her home in section SnS.

Her decomposed remains were found in a storm drain next to Rethabile sports ground, only a few blocks from her home about two months later.

Police spokesperson Captain Michael Mbewe told Rekord this week that they have not made any arrests in connection with the death of Zinhle, but that they are still busy with their investigation.
