ALERT: Load shedding in Pretoria

Eskom announced that load shedding will take place tonight. The load shedding started from 17:00 until 20:00.

The power provider said it required a capacity saving of 600 Megawatts.

This is as a result of Eskom not being able to generate the required capacity due to industrial action that affected them.

Tshwane metro published the following load shedding schedule:

Tshwane is on standby for Stage 2 load shedding.

Time: 17:00 to 20:00

Group 8 and 12 will be affected.
