A jewellery store at Mall@Reds in Centurion was robbed on Tuesday evening.
The robbery took place after the owner had already locked the premises at around 19:15 and activated the alarm, according to Wierdabrug police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma.
“He only received a message later that the store had been broken into,” said Huma.
The suspects fled with an unspecified amount of jewellery.
Mall@Reds spokesperson Costa Martinis said no-one was threatened or injured in the incident.
“Due to the rapid response of the Mall@Reds security team further damage to the premises or any threat to tenants and members of the public was quickly curtailed,” said Martinis.
