Welbekend police have appealed for information to locate a 17-year-old local reported missing last week.
Spokesperson Sergeant Tsietsi Lamola said Nhlonipho Makopoli Mahlangu left home for the shop in Kleinzonderhout around 10:00 on 26 July “but never returned”.
She said he was wearing blue jeans, a black tracksuit top and black takkies with a gold trim.

Mother Maria Mnyakeni said she had initially assumed Nhlonipho had visited a friend for a weekend.
“He hasn’t been to school since, anyway his books and uniform are here at home.”

“We appeal to members of the community who might have seen the Wozanibone high school Grade 8 learner or know where to find him to come forward,” said Lamola.
“Anyone with information must contact the Welbekend police station on 011-964-2050 or the nearest police station.”
