The owner of a car allegedly involved in the hit-and-run that killed Centurion teen Ruan Viljoen will appear in court today.
Police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma said the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court had issued a summons naming the owner of the VW Golf 6 identified as being at the centre of the accident as accused.

“If the accused does not appear in court, an immediate arrest can be executed,” said Huma.
Viljoen was killed on 19 March last year, two weeks before his 19th birthday.
His body was found in the centre median on the N14 by ER24 paramedics.
A private investigation by Viljoen’s parents’, Anita and Sergei Greyvenstein, and effort by the Wierdabrug police led to the Golf 6 being linked to the accident.
