SPORT: Lebese joins SuperSport United
The Mamelodi-born winger was not called on to play a single game for Downs this season.
Mamelodi Sundowns player George Lebese has joined SuperSport United on loan until the end of the season.
He was signed by the Pretoria side on Thursday afternoon during the January transfer period.

The 29-year-old Mamelodi-born striker did well at Kaizer Chiefs but has struggled to get game time since making a high-profile move from there to Mamelodi Sundowns almost two years ago.
“SuperSport United (Matsatsantsa) can confirm the signing of midfielder George Lebese from Sundowns on loan until the end of the season,” the club said on social media.
With SuperSport struggling in the league, it seems likely that coach Kaitano Tembo will look for the services of Lebese upfront to assist the likes of Bradley Grobler and Thabo Mnyamane.
