Moot residents gathered at their individual voting stations to cast their vote in the 2019 elections.
The mood was calm as voters queued from early at the Laerskool Pierneef voting station.

Across the street, parents of Laerskool Pierneef learners took the opportunity to sell coffee and other sweet pastries to queuing voters.

This was all part of a fundraiser for school projects.

Residents were all smiles as they left the venue after they cast their vote.
One such a resident was Brenton Ally, who was thrilled to have made his mark.



Jon Mohlala, along with Regina Mkhondo and Olly Zitha exited the building in high spirits, adding that they were excited about the outcome of the elections.

Anthony Heath and his wife, Sharon, also left the venue with a spring in their step.
“We decided to come in a little earlier so that we can have the rest of the day for ourselves,” they said.
Police and metro police presence was also visible at the voting station.
