The police O Kae Molao operation resulted in more than 130 arrests in the north Pretoria between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
The operation was conducted by the Gauteng police, together with home affairs and Gauteng traffic department.
Between 22:00 and 05:00, 138 wanted suspects were arrested in the Tshwane area, said police commissioner Lieutenant-General Elias Mawela.

“Approximately 1 165 vehicles were searched in the three roadblocks that were conducted in Tshwane,” he said.
“Stop-and-searches were conducted, we apprehended those who partake in illegal activities such as driving vehicles that are not roadworthy.”
Mawela also touched on the serial killer targeting the homeless.
“We are again appealing to the community to help us. We have received a lot of information from concerned communities about what is happening, so we have tasked our detectives to follow through,” he said.
“We hope that very soon, we are going to crack this case.”
He called upon communities to assist the homeless with accommodation, food and basic needs.
