The family of the man who went missing on Friday night is mourning his death after his body was found the following day.
Louis Dingle was last seen leaving work on 28 June but he never made it home that evening.
It was believed the missing man was killed in a hit-and-run late on Friday afternoon.
The next day, on 29 June, Dingle’s body was found on the N1 highway between Zambezi Drive and Stormvoël Road.
“It is very shocking, we are in a very bad space,” Louis sister, Youranda Pretorius said.

Pretorius posted on Facebook about her brother’s disappearance, asking the community to be on the look-out for him.
“Looking for my brother. He was last seen at 4.30pm before leaving work for home. He works behind the Food Lover’s Market Zambezi. He never arrived at home. He is 38 years old, 1.6 m tall with dark brown hair. He wore a dark blue shirt, a denim pant and a black jacket,” Pretorius posted.
She also posted her number asking anyone with information to contact her.
“His body was found on Saturday afternoon. We don’t have any other information,” Pretorius told Rekord.
Initially, the family had thought he was a robbery victim.

Since the post, Pretorius has been bombarded with calls.
“Thank you to the community that helped search for Louis.”
Pretorius asked anyone with information about the alleged hit-and-run to come forward and contact Colonel Visagie at the Villieria police station on 012-393-1000.
