NEWSFLASH: Man killed in Moot robbery

The police are investigating a case of murder.

A 68-year-old man was found dead in his Moot home this week.

The body of the man was discovered in Union Street, Parktown between 17:00 and 18:00 on Tuesday when another resident of the house found him, said Pretoria Moot CPF chairperson Elsabe van Staden.

“It appears that a robbery took place and the man resisted,” she said.

Several household items were reported missing.

No one has been arrested and the police are investigating a case of murder.
