Pretoria West police have opened an inquest docket after the discovery of the body of a man hanging from a tree in a veld in Elandspoort on Thursday morning.

Police spokesperson Constable Sibongile Vuma said the age of the deceased was unknown.
“An inquest docket is being investigated and more details will be provided in due course.”
