ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said a woman was also critically injured in the accident.

“Medics found the body of a man lying outside one of the vehicles while a woman was found lying in the back seat of another car,” he said.

“Medics assessed the patients and found that the man had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.”

The man was declared dead on the scene.

Meiring said the woman was treated for her injuries and provided with advanced life support before being transported to the Kalafong provincial hospital.
